Teddies all around!

Yes of course I know it’s not Teddy Day today, but it all began yesterday morning when I was washing all my teddy bears as they had caught a little bit of dust. While I was doing the not-so-boring chore, I just remembered about each of my Teds how I got them and how much they are special to me. And when I was thinking about them all, I thought why not introduce you to my teddy bear family? So, here we go…

A family photo!
This pink coloured teddy of mine named Kebo is closest to my heart. I consider him as my brother. He was gifted to me by Santa Claus on Christmas some 9 years back. He’s the loveliest ted that I’ve got. I sleep with him and narrate him all sorts of stories.

Second, is Duckie, a yellow and red coloured pillow shaped bear. He acts more like a cushion for me than as a teddy. I keep him with Kebo on my bed. So, I can say that both are good friends. And I got him from a mall as I remember.

Next on, I’ve a white coloured ted called Dolly and a brown dog named Tom who is also the cutest in the whole family. Both of them were gifted to me by my neighbour on my 6th birthday. So, they both are siblings according to me. I don’t have any idea about who’s older though!

I also have a pearly white and red coloured Teddy named Bunny. Well he’s not exactly mine as my brother got it when his birthday was being celebrated at his preschool. It was a gift from the teachers there. But still I somehow persuaded him to let me take this Ted.

So now comes the oldest member of the family known as Grandpa Blackie. As the name suggests, he is all black and a little brown but is known to be the suave member in the family. I don’t know about when I got him as I am seeing this Ted on my shelf since my childhood.

After the oldest, it’s time for the youngest and tiniest bear…Tommy aka Tin Tin! But I don’t know actually from where I got this dark pink coloured teddy. Looks like I need to start doing memory boosting exercises! Anyways, he is really cute. He has two names so as to avoid any confusions with Tom.

After the tiniest, time to tell you about the most enormous teddy bear and the most interesting one…that’s Nemo! I am not allowed to bring this teddy to my bed as it really large. So, the poor brownish coloured giant has to live in the loft. But I brought him down for a family photo. He was given by my father’s friend on my brother’s 1st birthday.

Last but not the least, comes a light brown teddy bear who has recently joined the family named Brownie. It was a gift from my parents on my birthday last year when I turned 13. He also lives in the loft because I don’t want him to catch dust as teddies look really untidy that way. He has dark brown coloured bow and hearts on his little feet. He is really valuable and special to me.

So, this was it about my stupendous Teddy Bear family! You think it as childish or what but I have to accept that I absolutely love teddy bears! Having teddies all around makes my room so lively and sublime. And apart from that the emotional bonding of mine with them is the most beautiful thing that I have. After all, a Teddy is a girl’s first and best friend with whom she shares all her secrets and it is always there when everyone else lets you down…
