Hypocrisy at its peak!

It’s so weird yet obvious that man has developed mechanisms for its own destruction in the name of progress. It’s painful to watch humans fighting with one another over petty issues every other day. In today’s world, we are so focused on development that we have dropped the tokens of brotherhood and empathy on the way. We just think of satisfying our amour propre even if it costs ruining the life of our fellow folks.

Many “powerful” organizations across the globe tend to claim their goal of spreading global peace and cooperation but it turns out that these syndications aren’t exactly what they pretend to be. I feel these institutions are more often controlled by the dominating countries of the world which is highly disappointing. Amidst what is happening right now and keeping in mind the current situation, it has become much clearer. The so-called establishments and dignitaries who gave long speeches at the podium about peace and mutual coordination are now looking at naïve people losing their life and property and are doing nothing. They are just watching the terrible destruction and havoc caused there like silent observers and keeping mum.

Global peace is not just a principle, it’s something which should be achieved in reality too. There’s absolutely no point in roaming the streets like mannequins with placards around our necks saying “Let’s work together to achieve peace!”. It’s sheer hypocrisy to give long slogans about mutual coordination and then backstabbing someone when you are actually needed! It’s extremely disheartening for me, as an individual, to see another country face so much ruin and dismantling. And what’s even more sad is that no one even comes up to prop up for that one country. All what they are doing right now is just dyeing their monuments and tourist spots with stains of blue and yellow. But the need of the hour is support from the fellow countries. So, I think the self-proclaimed dignitaries and world leaders should tone down their hypocrisy levels and actually do what they preach.

May this unnecessary war get over soon and my condolences to each and every person who has lost his/her dear ones!
