Don’t we deserve some more time from our parents?

Often referred to as the “yo gang” in their circles, more
than half of my class comes under this category. Their main aim is to become popular,
no matter even if it is for the wrong reasons. They bunk classes, abuse each
other, backbite even teachers, flaunt about their followers on Instagram and
the number of exes they’ve got etc..
I find it beyond my comprehension to know what these people
get after doing such insane activities. It seems to me that they’ve no idea
about the kind of life they’re leading themselves to. My French teacher once
said that “your behavior is the reflection of your parents.” And undoubtedly,
many working parents hand smartphones to their kids at a very tender age which,
as far as I can think, is the major cause of their senseless characters. How
can parents be so busy that they don’t have time to check their kids whether
they’re falling in a bad company?

There’s no problem in being on Instagram, but once you’ve
achieved your goal. However, in student years, these distractions should be
restricted as this period is the turning point of their life. They need to be
educated first which is crucial and has a great role to play later on. So, the
time’s now, because if it’s gone today, it will be gone once and for all.
